1. Onboarding & Documentation

Before you can begin work or receive payment, all required identification must be submitted.

  • Required Documents: Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
  • Format: We require copies of the front and back of both documents, in full color.
  • Submission: You must either bring the physical documents to Bradley to be scanned or securely send high-quality color scans prior to your first day.

2. Payroll, Classification, & Compensation

  • Structure: All team members start with a base pay of standard minimum wage.
  • Performance-Based Pay: Any hourly rate or salary amount agreed upon above minimum wage is strictly performance-based. Your total compensation is tied directly to the quality of your work, your efficiency, and your adherence to company policies.
  • Verbal Warnings & Adjustments: If performance drops or policies are ignored, you will receive a verbal warning. Continued issues may result in the performance-based portion of your pay being revoked, returning your compensation to the base minimum wage.

3. Flexible Role & “All Hands on Deck”

We are a specialized team, and our success depends on everyone being willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

  • Flexibility Required: This is a flexible position. Your daily tasks will vary based on the needs of the project. You may be assigned tasks that are outside your primary area of expertise.
  • Scope of Work: Whether it’s operating a machine, spotting, hand-digging holes, or cleaning equipment, every task is vital.
  • Forfeiture of Pay: Refusal of assigned work is an automatic forfeiture of all performance-based pay. If you refuse to perform a task required for the job, your compensation will immediately revert to base minimum wage.

4. Timekeeping & Hours Verification

To ensure everyone is paid accurately and fairly, we maintain a strict policy on hours.

  • Employee Tracking: It is your responsibility to track your daily hours accurately.
  • Verification: All submitted hours are subject to verification via Security Camera Footage, GPS Vehicle Tracking, and Equipment Tracking Units (drills, trenchers, etc.).
  • Discrepancies: If there is a conflict between submitted hours and electronic data, we will default to the verified electronic records.

5. Communication & Daily Operations

  • Plan Verification: If you have not heard directly what you are expected to do for the day, you are required to call your immediate supervisor or Bradley to verify the plans before you arrive at the job site.
  • Open Line Policy: We encourage every employee to call with any concerns, questions, or site issues as they arise. If you see something, say something.

6. Driving Safety & Use of Company Time

As a company that travels constantly, how we drive reflects our professionalism.

  • Safety First: Speeding or reckless driving in company vehicles—especially when towing—will not be tolerated.
  • Personal Errands: Company time and vehicles are for business use only. Employees are strictly prohibited from using company time for personal errands along their route.
  • Meal & Drink Stops: While we understand the need to grab food, please be efficient. Lengthy or out-of-the-way stops are a misuse of company time and will be flagged via GPS.

7. Job Site Documentation & As-Builts (CompanyCam)

  • Liability Protection: You must mark and photograph any unusual pre-existing conditions before you start work so we are not blamed for prior damage.
  • Photos: Clear Before and After pictures with GPS & Timestamp overlays are mandatory for every job.
  • As-Builts: Upon completion, measure work with a wheel. Create an As-Built using Google Earth (screenshot/markup) showing point-to-point distances and legible depth markings for billing.

8. Equipment & Vehicle Care

This equipment makes your paycheck possible—treat it with respect.

  • Daily Inspections: Complete a daily walkaround. Check all fluids (oil, coolant, hydraulic), tires/tracks, and hitches every morning.
  • Monitoring Gauges: You are required to watch your gauges constantly. Pay strict attention to low oil pressure or temperature spikes.
  • Immediate Shutdown: If a warning light appears or oil pressure drops, shut it down immediately. Running a damaged engine is a severe performance issue.
  • Repairs: All maintenance and repairs must be approved by Bradley first.

9. Utility Strikes & Damage Protocol

  • Form Submission: If a strike occurs, go to RollingCommunications.us and fill out the incident form immediately while on-site.
  • Documentation: Take CompanyCam photos of the strike and the surrounding locate marks with the GPS/Timestamp on.

Notification: Call Bradley immediately after the form is submitted.
